Encrypted Backup uses Google user data only to perform backup and recovery operations requested by its user.
Google data accessed
Encrypted Backup requests the Google Drive drive.file permission. It may access the content and metadata of backup folders and files it creates, and files the user explicitly selects or shares with it. It does not request unrestricted access to the user's Drive.
How data is used
Google Drive access is used only to create folders, upload encrypted backup archives, list and verify those archives, download them for recovery, and manage the app's own backup files when the user instructs it to do so.
Storage and security
Backup content is encrypted on the user's device before upload. Google authorization credentials are stored securely on that device.
Sharing and sale
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties. The utility does not use Google user data to train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Retention and deletion
Encrypted backup archives remain in the user's Google Drive until the user deletes them or instructs the utility to remove them. Local OAuth credentials remain until the user revokes access or deletes the configuration. Access can be revoked at any time from the connections page in the user's Google Account.
This website
This website contains no forms, analytics, advertising, or application cookies. Its hosting provider may process ordinary request data to deliver and secure the site under the provider's own terms.
